The boys are getting so big. Easton is crawling all over the place and pulling himself up on things now, it won't be long before he's off and running. Kohen is just content to hang out and observe the chaos that Easton creates. They are happy babies and are having fun making each other giggle and laugh. Easton is still a couple pounds lighter than Kohen, and yes, they both still have the red hair.

Almost Six Months!!!
Well the boys are almost six months old. They are tons of fun. Growing growing. Sometimes I wondered if we would ever have any babies of our own and we ended up with two. Our 10 year anniversary is this month and it has been a wonderful 10 years. Easton is a little bundle of energy and Kohen is usually pretty mellow unless he is in the jumperoo.

Finally New additions to the Family
Well after many years (9) of trying for children Shannon and I were blessed with 2 little boys. Kohen Hawkins Hyer (5 lb 12 oz) and Easton Andrew Hyer (4 lb 4 oz) were born on October 9, 2010. They were born at 33 1/2 weeks but they are looking good. Will have to stay in the NICU for a couple of weeks. Mom had a rough time after the delivery. Went from Antepartum, OR for c-section, postpartum, ICU, Med/Surg. She is doing better now and anticipating a discharge from the hospital tomorrow. Maybe with these additions to the family we will be updating the blog more often.

My how the time flies! I can't believe that the summer is over. Justin is busy with school again. I don't get to see him for more than about 15 minutes (if I'm lucky) on Tuesdays and Thursdays because he leaves the house at about 6:30 or 7:00 in the morning and doesn't get home until 10:30 or 11:00 at night. Most of you know that I'm NOT a night owl, so I struggle to stay up until he gets home so I can see him at least for a minute. Not sure that it's really "quality time" though because we're both pretty tired by then. Justin is loving the clinical part of school. I get to hear all about what kind of meds he got to push and how he "almost got to place a suppository" (yea, that's what I thought...EEEEwwwwww). Anyway, I'm still enjoying my new job and wish I would've made the change sooner, it's so close to home that I can run home for lunch and do a load of laundry. It's pretty sweet!
Everything else is just about the same. There's not a whole lot to report on when we don't have any little ones to report about. Hopefully that will change soon since Justin will graduate in May and we'll (hopefully) have the resources to do something about it!
That's all for now.....see you again in another 4 months. Hehehe!
